چکیده

This may be distinguished from intrapericardial bands if the parietal pericardium is thin and fixed, because most of the pericardial bands in our patients had an undulating motion during the cardiac cycle. Awareness of the pericardial abnormalities described here may allow correlation with specific pathologic findings by investigators in the future.9 For the present, these findings may improve understanding and management of patients with chronic recurrent pericardial disease.

Abnormal blood pressure response and marked ischemic ST-segment depression as predictors of severe coronary artery disease.

The usefulness of an abnormal blood pressure response and a marked ischemic ST-segment depression during exercise testing as predictors of severe coronary artery disease was assessed in 378 consecutive patients who had a maximal symptom-limited exercise test before coronary arteriography. An abnormal blood pressure response occurred in 90 patients. The sensitivity of this response for three-ves...

Diffuse ST-Segment Depression with ST-Segment Elevation in Lead aVR in 12-Lead Electrocardiography May Indicate Ischemic Change of Severe Aortic Stenosis.

UNLABELLED Diffuse ST-segment depression with ST-segment elevation in the lead augmented vector right (aVR) in 12-lead electrocardiography may indicate the possibility of coronary artery disease involving the left main coronary artery or proximal left anterior descending artery, pulmonary embolism or takotsubo cardiomyopathy. We report a 69-year-old female with severe aortic stenosis, who had s...

Angiographic and hemodynamic determinants of myocardial ischemia during adenosine thallium-201 scintigraphy in coronary artery disease.

BACKGROUND Myocardial ischemia attributed to coronary steal may occur in some patients receiving pharmacological coronary vasodilation. ECG ST-segment depression is a marker of myocardial ischemia in these patients, but the factors determining the presence or absence of ischemia are not well known. METHODS AND RESULTS To examine the angiographic, hemodynamic, and scintigraphic determinants of...

Transient ST-Segment Elevation

AN IDEAL LESION for coronary artery bypass graft surgery is a severe proximal narrowing of a major coronary artery with a distal vessel free of severe disease. It would be helpful if it were possible to identify those patients likely to have such ideal "surgical" lesions prior to arteriography by means of the electrocardiogram. It has been proposed that the presence of transient ST-segment elev...

Accurate detection of triple vessel disease in patients with exercise induced ST segment depression after infarction.

The severity of coronary artery disease is an important determinant of prognosis after acute myocardial infarction. The ability of a symptom limited exercise test to predict the presence of triple vessel disease was assessed in 221 patients three weeks after infarction. Coronary angiography was performed in patients with exercise induced ST segment depression. The presence of ST segment depress...
